2012 - 2015

Birth of muvman poezil

Muvman Poezil was promoting mainly slam, music, there was also acting and from time to time dance.

We can say that Muvman Poezil was announcing the coming of Skool of ART.

With Muvman Poezil there was the organization of show like Larkadans and Poezil Show.

2016

There was a silence in Muvman Poezil and sometime later in the same year, there was a new hope and dynamism and School of ART came to light/ was created. Later the name changed to School of Art for S’kool of Art.

2016

The foundation year for SOA, and in 2018 S’kool of Art roots itself in the local background and knows it taking off.

2017

The year of the taking off for S’Kool of Art

2017

The organization of the first end of year show and the first show to celebrate Mother’s Day.

2017 - 2018

There was the organization of many activities, mainly vocal classes, exchange programs with youth from France, participation of local/ national artists in workshops organized by SOA, participation of SOA in social, environmental activities.

2018

Launching of video clip ‘Nou Pasion’ (Nou lar, nou pasion)

2019

S’kool of Art is registered as an association with the Registrar of Association and become RSOA- Rodrigues Skool of Art

Events to be remembered in 2019:

The partnership and collaboration of RSOA for CASP-Coupe d’Afrique Slam Poesie

Festival Rasinn in Mauritius in August 2019 with the participation of the Senior Drama Club

1^sttouring of a group of RSOA’s students in Mauritius in a project by Francis Chapus, November 2019

Launching of video clip in memory of Marie Lourdes Leveillee, June 2019

To note that RSOA contribute in giving a new dynamism to theater/ acting in Rodrigues. This domain had gain a new era of popularity in Rodrigues and is well appreciated by rodriguan.
